About Mrs. Briggs

Gladys has a level 3 Diploma in supporting Teaching and learning and schools, a first degree in mathematics and computer science from the University of Port Harcourt Nigeria and a second degree in Secondary Maths and IT from the University of South Wales, United kingdom. She has a wealth of experience working with children of different academic abilities, backgrounds and year groups. She is currently teaching curriculum based Maths to children of all key stages at Spire Education Support, a tuition centre for Maths support in Wales.

The Parent

In addition to her role as a teacher, she is  also a proud mother and according to her, "parenthood has added an extra layer of empathy and understanding to her teaching approach." Being a mother has taught her the importance of patience, compassion, and the value of a strong support system in a child's life.

The Education/IT influencer Entrepreneur

As well as running the Maths Junction project, she has channelled her passion for education into various other ventures which aim at creating learning experiences through educational resources and also organizing workshops and seminars for continued professional development

She believes every student is  unique with their own strengths, interests, and potential and she is  dedicated to fostering critical thinking, creativity, and a lifelong love for learning in Maths
